Good Week :)

I had a really good week this week.  Stayed on plan 95% of the time!

On Friday, I went a little walk to deliver some Slimming World leaflets.  On Saturday we went to a christening, so that was more walking, about half an hours worth.  I then had lots of wine spritzers, and got a bit drunk!  I didn't have much to eat, except the crusts off Kieron's sandwiches he didn't want, a piece of lettuce and a pringle, Kieron force fed it to me!  On Monday I went to the gym, did 35 minutes on treadmill, and 20 minutes on exercise bike.  I think i'm going to build my way up on the treadmill, see if I can eventually get to a run, and do some intervals.  It's the only equipment I enjoy so far.  On Wednesday, I went swimming with Jake and Elliot, didn't do much swimming but did keep myself active, bobbing around in the water.

Thursday, yuck!  I woke up feeling so ill, very sick and my tummy had a washing machine inside, or so it felt!  I left work at 10am, went home and got in bed until about 1.45pm.  Then I got up and had some fruit and yoghurt - big mistake!  It didn't settle very well.  Still, I managed to survive Parents evening at my daughter's school - no mean feat, it's always chaos!  Then at weigh in, I had lost another 4.5 lbs :) :) :)  (Some of that may be through having not a lot to eat and feeling ill though!)  So in total I have now lost 51 lbs!  I also am owed my 3.5 st award, which I will get next week, as I didn't hang around for it this week with feeling so bleurgh!

Another Update :)

Just back from weigh in, i've had a completely angelic week, stuck to the plan 100% and have been rewarded with a lovely 6 lbs loss.

This is the total opposite to last week!!  I ate, and ate, and ate, and ate (you get the picture!), and it resulted in a 3.5 lb gain.  I don't know why I do it, but as long as I can get back on track and get going in the right direction again, that's the important thing!

I'm now 18 stones and 13.5 lbs, so just about inched under the next stone bracket!! Yay!

Our friends wedding is 1 month away today, I can't remember where i'm up to since setting myself an 18lb target with 9 weeks to go, so i'll just say anything lost between now and then is good!  I started SW in a size 26/28, and i've bought a size 22 dress, which fits nicely already, but by the wedding it will fit even better!  I've booked a room in the hotel (wedding venue) for the night for me & hubby, we are both REALLY looking forward to it!  We didn't even stay in a hotel room on our wedding night so it will be luxury!

Almost forgot to mention, the week before last I also lost 1.5 lbs, and got slimmer of the week for that week, plus slimmer of the month for March!  Not bad for the week after my birthday!

Weekly Round Up!

I've had a good week this week, have stuck to the plan and exercised too.  I had two takeaways on Fri and Sat night though, but both were inside my syns allowance so I wasn't too worried.

I went to the gym on Sunday - managed 8 minutes or so on the cross trainer (I do not like that machine!), and 30 mins on the treadmill, walking at a steady pace, with a few inclines too.

I went back to the gym on Monday, despite very achy legs and telling anyone who would listen (and probably a few who didn't listen) that I wasn't going.  But, when I signed up I promised to go every Monday so go I did.

Today at work, it was a leaving do, and there were cupcakes, chocolate gateau, carrot cake, doritos, pringles, dips, mini rolls - allsorts really, and I sat and ate my fruit and yoghurt while everyone tucked in!  Very pleased with myself!  I've also bought goodies to take in tomorrow for my birthday, but I won't be having any.  I will though, be having some of my birthday cake that my mum has made me (nothing beats my mum's cakes!), and having an uncounted chinese takeaway tomorrow night.  Then back on it 100% from Saturday.

I lost 2 lbs this week, so got to my 3 stone target before my birthday, just!!  So in my 9 week challenge to lose 18 lbs, I have lost 4 lbs, and have 14 lbs to go (7 weeks left)

Keeping On Track

I'm still on the wagon! I've lost 2 lbs this week, after maintaining last week.  So all together I have lost 40.5lbs now.

I have joined a gym, although i've only been once so far!  I'm so unfit.  I managed 7 minutes on the cross trainer (those things are harder than they look!), 25 minutes on the treadmill (walking - not quiet up to running just yet!), 15 minutes on the exercise bike (was much easier when I got the seat at the right height for me!), and struggled to 2 minutes on the rowing machine (had to pretend the screen was broken to cover up being so embarrassed at only managing 2 minutes!).  I also went swimming yesterday and managed around 30 lengths (25 metre pool), although I lost count after 22.  Was very pleased with that, I thought i'd be dragging myself out after 2 lengths!

I am going to a wedding in 8 weeks time, so I have set myself a challenge (set it last week) to lose 18 lbs before then.  So after this weeks weigh in, I have 16 lbs to go.

AWOL (again)

Mmm so I seem to have been a little bit missing in action.  The last month or so has been very up and down. I fell off the wagon, and despite running along behind it for 3 weeks, it took me a while to get back on again.

I missed two weigh ins, so by the time I went back I hadn't been to class for 3 weeks, and I didn't really try in those 3 weeks.  Went back to my bingeing ways, eating anything and everything.  I was dreading weigh in, really felt i'd have put about 10-14 lbs back on.  Anyway, big sigh of relief, I only gained 1.5 lbs (phew).  I had been feeling emotional and all over the place, so I got upset in class, hence being given hugs and tissues! Then Lisa (the consultant) asked if I would like to be "buddied" up with someone for the week, and straighaway a lovely lady, who is at her target weight, said she's help me.  Her name is Mel and she has been a star all week.  We have text every day with our menus for the day, and we've also kept in touch on FB.  I have been ill for most of the week, which meant I didn;t eat very much for 2 days (Tues and Thurs).  Back for weigh in, and i'd lost a huge 7 lbs.  Although very pleased with that, I will take it with a pinch of salt, as theres every chance I may gain a little back this week, now my appetite has reappeared.

Feeling a little more focused and back on track now.  I think i'm up to 2 st 10 lbs lost  :)

Woop!

I've had another good week this week.  I've really stuck to the plan this week, and i've done a bit of walking - not loads, but it was more than I have been doing!  Result = I lost another 2 lbs :)   :)

I also won the Slimmer of The Month award for January.

It's going good, i'm so pleased to be back on track with my journey!  I'm also wearing the top today, that I wore to a friend's wedding in August, I posted a picture a couple of weeks ago.  It was skin tight then, but fits just nice now!

Update :)

I updated my tracker last week, but forgot to write an update so here it is!

Last week I lost 2.5 lbs, meaning a total of 27.5lbs, and only 1/2 a lb away from the 2 stone award.

I had my first NSV (non scale victory), when I put on a pair of trousers which were waaaaaaaay too tight before Xmas, and they fit now, woop!

This week, I felt i've had a bad week.  On Sunday, my mum had made jam tarts for the children.  They had 3 between them, I had the rest (about 6 I think), and this led to me having a binge (crisps, biscuits and chocolate).  Then on Monday, because I was fed up of myself having a binge on Sunday, I had another one, not quiet so big this time.  A good thing I did on Monday was to take the boys sledging in the snow we had, due to school being closed.  So, I was walking for about 1.5 hours and it involved lots of hills.  This must have done me some good, because i've just been to weigh in and.....

.......I lost 3.5lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!  So, i got my 2 stone award, and i've now also lost 10% of my start weight, so got my Club 10 award too.  Very pleased with that.

I also had my hair cut yesterday for the first time in almost 2 years!!  Feels much better, I need to dye it though, when did I get so old, these children are turning my hair grey very quickly!!
