Erm - Hello!

Yes I went awol again. Still haven't sorted my head out, still gaining weight. I just don't know what to do to get myself out of this rut.

Someone called me a "fat cow" the other day. Wow, that hurt. I mean, I know i've gained a lot of weight and I am hugely overweight again, but to overhear someone say that, it was a sharp slap in the face.

It's led to me having a total breakdown the last 2 days. None stop crying, and the worst thing, instead of giving me a kick up the backside, i've eaten loads. Can't stop shoveling it in :(

Rarrrr I hate me :(

  1. Here's a suggestion:

Re-design your blog. Remove the pictures of your previous achievements, change the colour/layout and then re-introduce yourself to us all with your new goals and aims.

Maybe you need to start a fresh and think about what you want and how you are going to get there. Think of rewards you could give yourself when you hit certain goals i.e. 7lb loss, 1 stone loss etc.

When I first started losing weight a few years ago, I lost 3 stone and then my downfall happened and I gained it all back + more. I had to draw a line under it, accept that it happened and re-start with fresh hope.

Now i've lost 51 lbs. It might work, it might not work....but if it isnt working now then whats the harm in trying?

  2. I agree with Tim......change the black background to something vibrant and cheerful, as I know you can be....the picture at the top when you were 13st.

I have been where you are and the thing that changed my way of thinking (from really negative to positive), was writing a gratitude journal. At first I thought it was a joke because I really couldn't think of anything that I was grateful for, but as the days went by I began to find more and more things...even little things like a pretty flower or a beautiful bird I wrote down! So don't knock it till you try it I say!

I read a lot of self help books too.....A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle was a good book for me. And I start everyday now by reading the quote of the day at greatday.com (Ralph Marstons web site).
And if you need more inspiration read Sean Andersons blog at losingweighteveryday.blogspot.com. He went from 500 pounds to 234 . His blog is amazing and I started at Day 1.

Sorry for droning on, I'll help you any way I can, just let me know.
